The Art of Fury

Ok, who am I kidding? Once you hit certain key stat points, you can faceroll good DPS as Fury. The "art" part comes in when you want to maximize your DPS, and then everything goes grey.

Very basic information, but don't under estimate its value to the new Fury warrior. Lots of mandatory Add ons and basic information to get you started.

This has A TON of information for those Fury warriors with the basics down pat. It will help with determining whether that armor piece really is an upgrade or not. Once you hit certain stat points it can be hard to tell as the way item budgeting goes, a lower ilvl item MAY give you more DPS with the way you are geared out.

Here you will find all the cutting edge info out there with truck loads of information and tools to theorycraft your way to the top. You will find trial and error posts that have created our cookie cutter builds. You will find bugs that may increase your dps, or bugs the devs have balanced around because they cant figure out how to fix it. As a warning, be VERY careful about what you post in this site. It is HEAVILY monitored, one stupid post and its /ban time for you. If you post, have everything in line (I.E. test that back you up, number crunching that proves your theory, WWS galore) or you will only earn a flaming.

Ok, probably one of the biggest debates out there is,
What is the hit cap?
Simple answer is 164 HR w/ 3/3 Precision -32 for Heroic Presence (Thanks all you Dreaneis!) = 132 HR

Complex answer is... Whatever keeps your rage up to complete your rotation. At lower levels of gear you may find you need all the way up to 300HR, but as you get better gear, you can shed all the way down to 200HR to achieve this.

Expertise cap is 18/18 w/ Weapon Mastery, 26/26 w/out. Pretty easy to achieve, TONS of expertise out there.

Other stats you may want to look at are AP and Crit. I would say a Fury warrior should have ~3k AP and ~30% Crit before coming to Naxx 25 man, these can be tweaked some if you got more of one stat then the other. And the simple order for item selection is...

Hit until 132>Expertise until cap>STR/AP>Crit>Hit after 132>Haste>Armor Pen

While in my opening statement I said you can faceroll good DPS, well you can, but we are about MAXAMIZING DPS. So here are a few items to acheive that...

Rotation: WW>BT>Insta Slam>Heroic Strike for rage dump

This is more an order of priority, and it evolves as your gear does. WW will always stay at top priority, Insta Slam and BT can interchange as the way their mechanic work. BT is all AP based, Insta Slam is Top end weapon DMG based. So you may find that Insta Slam will sometimes be > than BT dependant on what procs are up.

The extra point is kind of a floater... where ever you feel the best DPS/utility will come out of it. I typically take Anger management because its better rage generator than 5/5 Unbridled Wrath, Some take Heroic Fury for better mobility, but its all up to you.
