Name: Snell Class: Mage Race: Gnome Level: 80 Email:evan_gizmo at hotmail.com How did you hear about The Death Knights? What are you looking for in a guild? I've heard about the guild via word of mouth. The Death Knights are pretty prestigious. But I'm applying because a friend of mine, Bitesized, said you were recruiting and I might have a shot. In a guild, I'm looking mostly for an active and friendly environment. I'm really looking for people who are always ready to tackle Heroics and raids, and willing to work for those tough achievements.
Please describe your character and playing style what you hope to achieve with this character. How you typically spend your time in-game? I have an entire character and story based around Snell; I'm big on role-playing. But I never let that interfere with actual gameplay. Typically, I only get on long enough to do my dailies and muck around for a while, but that's because I never have anyone on to raid/Heroic with.
Class leaders may ask you to change your specifications, gear, enchants, etc. in order to make you better fit raid situations. Would this be a problem to you? Nope. The only problem I would really have is if they wanted me to completely remap my talents; I rather enjoy being an Arcane Mage.
What are your tradeskills? Do you do dailies? Do you make your own gold? Are you active on the AH? Please describe how you make your WoW living. I'm a miner/jewelcrafter. I do the JC/Cooking/Fishing dailies every day, as well as the Frenzyheart dailies. Occasionally I do the Argent Tourny dailies, too. I don't bother with the AH, but I'm capable of keeping myself funded.
Do you have references on this server? Either in this guild or others. What other guilds have you been a part of? I was a member of Legends of Warcraft until just a short while ago. There was a massive schism that's left me kind of out of the loop on where I want to go. Jaysyn, Twistedmind, and Deathharvest are a few among many who have raided with me and know how well I do there, so you could ask them. Bitesized knows me fairly well personally, though, so she would be a good source to ask about how I would fit in the guild on a personal level.
Tell us about yourself. What's your age? Working or in School? Single or Married? Children? I am 18 years old and a freshman in college. School is, of course, my first priority, and that is the one big problem I can see with my application: I can't guarantee I can be on all the time. I'm fun-loving and sort of an all-around cool kid.
What is your raiding experience? I've run Khara a couple of times, but that's not saying anything, really. I've run Nax a bunch of times, and I know all of those fights pretty well (especially the Safety Dance, I love that one!). Ulduar, I just recently had my first 'run', and only got to do a couple of the bosses, so I don't know it well, but I'm a quick learner, and great at following directions.
What is the quality of your Internet connection and computing hardware? Do you often have lag or disconnection issues? I use the ASU internet connection. It's reasonably fast (not as good as at home) and I've only ever once had lag or disconnection issues. My computer is well-capable of handling the game, and I should be fine on that front.
