I apologize for being out of touch for who knows how long.
For the past few months I've been dealing with the protracted illness, decline and ultimate death of my father. I am the only one of his four sons who have been able and present to care for him. Between work and that I have had neither the time or inclination to get online, and frankly not giving a crap about much of anything else.
I have tried to keep my personal life out of the game as much as possible and keep the stress and strain I've been under contained. I depended on WoW as a stress release and back then at the beginning of the summer it turned to something that just simply wasn't enjoyable and I think added to my stress. I will likely be relocating away from Reno, probably to Scottsdale, AZ. My father's presence here and the properties he owned were the only thing really tying me to the area. My mother, who is a multiple stroke victim, remains here in a nursing home but is under the best possible care until her end which I feel will be a relief she is owed. With the funeral, probate stuff, and probable move, etc I will continue to be fully pre-occupied for a while.
To add to my woes, and some great irony, my home computer got taken out just over a month ago by the Vundo virus and have been using other family and business PCs as necessary and haven't had the time or patience to reload it. It is presently in a Blue-Screen on normal boot, and Safe Mode only state. All my data is OK but it will need an OS reload. I will get that home machine up and running with Windows 7 shortly. Moral of the story - don't download keygens and cracks from unknown torrents. Norton Antivirus and StopZilla didn't save me.
I am not sure when I will get back into the game but I have been paying for the service and am current. When the dust settles I will let you know.
Its good to see that the guild is active and doing well, and I'm sure I'll need a lot of catch up. Hope to see you all in-game soon.
Man... I saw the title and got all amped up, the more I read the more my heart sunk. There's nothing I can really say but I send my condolences and we'll be here waiting whenever you are ready Bob. Best Wishes Casey (aka Creymore)
